Share ThisJoseph E. Waters, Major Shareholder
Mr. Waters started his career more than 30 years ago in the specialty chemical industry as a research and development chemist. He eventually moved into sales and marketing management where he specialized in the introduction of new chemical processes to major industrial users.
Since 1980, Mr. Waters has been involved in the industrial waste and recycling market, focusing on chemical process operations and sales and marketing management. In 1989, he began his own environmental management and consulting company. After making $4 million in revenue over a four-year period, Mr. Waters sold the business to a larger recycling and waste-treatment company.
In 1999, Mr. Waters and his partners launched VEXOR Technology where he is executive vice president in charge of sales and marketing. Mr. Waters has a B.S. degree in chemistry and an MBA.
F. Phillip Stapf, Major Shareholder
Mr. Stapf has extensive background in the industrial waste management industry. In 1983, he founded North East Chemical Corporation (NEC) to reclaim solvents through distillation. He was the driving force in the design and continued improvements of NEC's unique processing capabilities.
In 1986, with the adoption of the land disposal regulations, Mr. Stapf developed various fuel blending process capabilities and techniques. These processes included processing solids and heavy sludges through a size reduction and reliquification process. In addition, he designed and built the agitated tankers needed for the efficient movement of waste derived fuels to cement kilns for use as a fuel substitute.
Mr. Stapf is a founding member of the Ohio Chemical Recycling Association (ORCA) and served as its president in 1992-1993. He is very proactive in legislative and regulatory issues. In 1990 Mr. Stapf instituted an Annual open house of the NEC facility to help educate the public as to the type of processing being performed at that facility. This was the first fuel blending/solvent recovery facility in the country to provide this type of open inspection and public information.
Mr. Stapf and his partners launched VEXOR Technology, Inc. in 1999. He is executive vice president of plant operations. Mr. Stapf has a BA in Marketing from Baldwin Wallace College.
Steven M. Berry - President
Mr. Berry brings extensive management experience and knowledge to VEXOR Technology, Inc., from spending nearly 30 in the Solid Waste Management Industry. He began his storied career in Sales and Marketing where he was quickly recognized as one of the top revenue producers within the industry and quickly moved to positions of elevated responsibility and importance, including the position of Vice President of Business Development and Area President, where he was responsible for the management of more than 1,850 employees and 32 business units within a multi-state geography.
Over Mr. Berry's distinguished career, he has been recognized for his involvement in over 200 transactions within the solid waste, recycling, incineration and medical waste industries and for his ability to adopt and lead change within the solid waste industry.
Mr. Berry holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Kent State University.
Patrick F. Oberth, Corporate Facility Manager
Patrick brings a vast body of waste experience and knowledge to VEXOR Technology, Inc gathered from over twenty three years in the waste management field. He started his career at a used oil re-refinery and TSDF in Cleveland, OH in 1987 as a laboratory technician and moving quickly through the ranks of operations to management as the Shift Operations Manager. He held this position until 1996 where he moved to another TSDF, overseeing the upgrades to the wastewater and oil treatment system improving the efficiency and output by 50% based on volume. He was also involved in the industrial waste and recycling market as a technical consultant to various generators and treatment facilities; providing technical and processing knowledge for transactions between generators and facilities. He then moved to Texas working for a TSDF in the Houston, TX area where he managed the QA/QC department and the R&D areas leading improvements in efficiency of the receiving and sampling of containers and also in developing process treatment procedures for various hard to handle streams. Mr. Oberth came to VEXOR in 2000 to lead the Technical and Compliance areas as well as serve in the role of Facility Manager.
Mr. Oberth has a BS degree in Biology with major course work in Chemistry from Cleveland State University.
Jeffrey A. Nimon, Manager of Business Development - Energy & Sustainability
Mr. Nimon has 20 years of experience in both operations and sales management in the industrial waste and recycling industry. A member of the VEXOR team since 2002, he held account executive and facility manager positions before expanding his role to lead the VEXOR sales division.
Mr. Nimon was appointed to the position of Manager of Business Development - Energy & Sustainability for VEXOR Technology, Inc. in 2009. He has used his experience to customize sustainable waste management programs for a number of Fortune 500 industrial and consumer product manufacturers under national contracts. This has led to a reduction of long-term liability while still meeting sustainability initiatives.
A member of the VEXOR sustainability team, Mr. Nimon is committed to continuously look for new ways to provide customers with environmentally sound solutions.
Michael Vallone, Account Executive- Energy & Sustainability
Michael Vallone brings over 10 years of experience in operations and sales management in the industrial waste and recycling industry to Vexor, which he joined in August of 2010.
With a specialization in waste to energy and alternative fuels he has helped many Fortune 500 companies move toward a more sustainable approach for their waste and disposal needs. He is well versed in international compliance and regulations.
Michael has increased Vexor's presence in New York State and the New England area as well as in Canada.
Sean Waters, Account Executive - Energy & Sustainability
Mr. Waters has been with VEXOR in various capacities since 2000.
He has worked on the production line, with the HR department, in
customer service and as a marketing assistant. Sean has gained the
vital experience required to develop the companies business in all
aspects of operations.
Sean has created various corporate presentations revolving around
our VEXOR Engineered Fuel program. He was in charge of constructing
our Positive Effect Sustainability Movement program and VEXOR's new
website. In 2009, Sean was appointed Account Executive-Energy &
Sustainability. He has utilized his past experiences with the
company to help VEXOR continue to find new and innovative ways to
provide customizable sustainability solutions for
our customers.
Mr. Waters has BBA's in Marketing Management and Sales Management
from The University of Akron.
John Conti, Maintenance Manager
Mr. Conti first became involved with the industrial waste management industry in 1989 when he joined Phil Stapf at North East Chemical Corp. There, Mr. Conti was a key player in the development of equipment to process liquid fuel for cement kilns.
Since Mr. Conti joined VEXOR in 2000, he has been instrumental in developing and modifying equipment for special programs and for processing inbound waste streams. Mr. Conti designed VEXOR Technology's processing line and drum extrusion system, grinding system, blower unit and delivery system. He has also been involved in developing equipment for VEXOR Technology's sustainability program, looking for new ways to make equipment more efficient.
Mr. Conti is VEXOR Technology's liaison with the cement kiln industry. By offering his expertise in problem solving and operation efficiency, Mr. Conti has given VEXOR a competitive edge in the marketplace. His innovative designs provide custom services to VEXOR Technology's customers.
